Hi my name is Karen and I am totally addicted to card making
So this is me - I am Karen. I am ?? scary years old (and still haven't grown up). I am a Yorkshire lass who moved away from home after getting married at a very grown up 21. I first moved to Nottingham (and loved it), then to Redcar (ermmm) and I now live in Belfast with my lovely hubby (Number 2) and my son from my first marriage who is affectionately known as 'Kevin the Teenager'.
I work full time as a secretary in the health service for two Consultants and I love my day job - I also love the fact that people at work often ask me to make cards for them to give to family and friends. Well it saves them popping out to the shop!
Back home in England I have my wonderful mum, a big brother and lovely sister in law who have two grown up boys, and who I adore and who now both have partners and children of their own - a girl and 3 boys - all of whom are the best great niece and nephews ever! I have lots of aunties, uncles, cousins and brilliant friends who I see as regularly as possible and who can't get rid of me because of places like Facebook!
I became addicted to card making in 2004 (I think) and if you have read my blog you will see it is all my lovely hubby's fault. All I can say is it keeps me out of mischief! And stops me playing silly games on my pc!
